Andreas Mueller, 93, Randolph
Andreas “Andy” Mueller, age 93, of Randolph, passed away peacefully on April 27th, 2018, at Eagles Wings Assisted Living Facility in Beaver Dam.
The son of Martin and Barbara Mueller, Andreas was born in Alzen, Romania. Andreas met his wife Helene and married in Salzhaussin, Germany. They immigrated, along with their son, to the United States in 1952 through a United States sponsorship program to a farm in Columbus. The family then moved to Randolph where he worked for Rockwell Windows, and then employed at Busse Brothers as a Layout man, retiring in 1991. Andreas was meticulous and had pride in all he did. He was a devoted husband and father. He was an avid gardener and provided an abundance of fruits and vegetables from his garden for his family each year. He also loved roses and planted many different flowers around the home. He enjoyed watching and feeding the birds. Andreas was also a carpenter and spent many days performing repairs on his home and the homes of his family members, and many others. He enjoyed music and loved to waltz with Helene, his daughters, and granddaughters at their weddings.
Andreas is survived by his wife Helene of over 67 years , his son Juergen (Virginia) Mueller, daughters Barbara (Larry) Huettl and Hannelore Mueller (Rick Nelson); Andreas’s grandchildren Teresa (Randy) Connell and their two children Riley and Colton, Candace (Joel) Nieman and their three children Emily, Olivia and Isabel, Andrea (Josh) Meyer and their two children Grant and Paige, Samuel (Mary) Kok and their two children Joseph and Ella, Curt (Danyelle) DeBoer and their daughter Evelyne, Tasha (Nick) Niemi and their three children Abigail, Oliver, and Adelaide, extended family, Alicia and Nathan Nelson. He is also survived by his brothers Konrad, Michael (Ilse), and Johann (Anne), brother-in-law Gerhardt,and their families along with other nieces and nephews in Germany and Romania. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Andreas is preceded in death by granddaughter Stacy Lynn DeBoer in 1973, his parents Martin and Barbara Mueller and his siblings Maria, Martin, Barbara, Auguste and Susanna.
Andreas was a devote Christian and member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church for 65 years and rarely missed a service until his recent years.
Funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 1st at 11 a.m. at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church in Randolph. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
