Alice Lorraine Hennig

Alice Lorraine Hennig, age 82, of Waupun, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

Alice was born on June 4, 1942, in Hartford, Wisconsin, the daughter of Harold and Lorraine (Buerger) Wenzel. She attended U.W. Oshkosh and graduated with a teaching degree. Alice enjoyed painting, swimming at the Y.M.C.A and going out to eat with friends and cousins.

Alice is survived by her children, Cindy (Thomas) Hintz, Judith Hennig and Timothy (Kaili Kirch) Hennig; grandchildren, Anthony and Michael Hintz, Emma and Eli Hennig; sister, Shirley Thomsen. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Hennig; parents; brother-in-law, John Thomsen; and niece, Karen Cyganiak.

The family would like to thank the SSM Hospice staff and the staff at the Cancer Center for their wonderful care and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

A graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Forest Mound Cemetery, 225 E Spring St, Waupun, WI 53963 with Pastor David Knuth officiating.
