Roeman Ludwig Rahn, age 74 of Montello, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at his home with family by his by his side.
Roeman was born on October 11, 1942, in Beaver Dam, WI, a son of Reinhold and Marie (Spielvogel) Rahn. He was married to Jill Strohbusch on March 23, 2007, in Columbia County, Georgia. Roeman farmed south of Manchester on the family farm for many years before working for the Union Pacific Railroad and John Deere in Horicon. He enjoyed truck pulling with family and friends and long rides on his motorcycle.
Roeman is survived by his wife Jill; three children Roeman (Sue) Rahn, Tim (Penny) Rahn and James (Ashley) Webb; four step-children, Arnold (Michelle) Goodwin, Karla (Artie) Apple, Jonathan (Dana) Wojciechowski and Dallas (Irene) Larson; twenty grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Charlotte Harvey and Olive (Richard) Dykstra and the family dog Molly; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; great granddaughter, brother, Delano Rahn and a brother-in-law, Leon Harvey.
Visitation for Roeman will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Randolph Community Funeral Home, 208 South High Street, Randolph.
A funeral service for Roeman will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Randolph Community Funeral Home, 208 South High Street. Burial to follow at Randolph Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in Roeman’s name.
