Ellen Elaine Milton

Ellen E. Milton, age 73 of Markesan, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Ripon Medical Center. Ellen was born on June 5, 1943 to James and Leona (Scheier) Clark. She was united in marriage to John Milton Sr. in Kingston, WI. Ellen worked most of her life at Del Monte in Markesan. She was an avid reader, loved her cats and enjoyed cooking, baking for her family and friends for get-togethers. Ellen is survived by her three children, Jean Milton-Sell of Markesan, Julie (Rick) Leu of Waupun and John Milton Jr. of Madison; grandchildren, April (Cody) Doucette of Cambria, Ben (Dorothy) Schwark of CA, Sarah Leu of Sheboygan Falls, Kayla G. Johnson of Waupun; three great grandchildren, Reilynn, Ryan and Noah; one sister Cathy Clark of Beaver Dam; two honorary children, Sheryl Burmiester and Chris Aumok. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a daughter Joan and one brother. Following Ellen's wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Ellen's name, directed to Markesan Community Funeral Home, P.O. Box 344, Markesan, WI 53946.
