Leroy Fields

LeRoy Allen Fields, age 90 of Randolph, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Golden Living-Continental Manor of Randolph.

LeRoy was born on August 29, 1926 in Conover, WI a son of Albert and Florence (Johnson) Fields. He was united in marriage to Laura Fields on January 25, 1964 in Randolph. LeRoy was on the Randolph Fire Department for 16 years and worked for Jung’s Seed Company for over 50 years. He was a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church.

LeRoy is survived by one sister Charlotte Federspiel of Eagle River; four stepchildren Jerome (Katherine) Moritz, Helen (Edward) Fredrick, Michael Washtock and John Washtock; thirteen step-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Elmer (Irene) Moritz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura in 2004; two sisters, Lorraine Carie and Edith Buckley; two brothers-in-law, Franklin and Ferdinand Moritz.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Friedens Ev. Lutheran Church, 327 Jones Drive, Randolph.

A funeral service for LeRoy will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Friedens Ev. Lutheran Church, with Pastor Daniel Schumann officiating. Burial will take place at Randolph Cemetery.
