Claris Claudien Otto

Claris Claudien Otto, age 88 of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI.

Claris was born on November 6, 1928 in the town of Green Lake, the daughter of Walter and Irma (Link) Schwandt. She graduated from Markesan High School. On April 25, 1948 she was united in marriage to Walter Otto in Manchester, WI. Claris worked for 10 years at the Green Lake County Clerk's Office before becoming a farm wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening, flea markets and painting ceramics. Claris was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Princeton.

Claris is survived by her husband Walter; two daughters, Candi (Kevin) Calbaum of Neshkoro and Robin (Dennis) Scott of Ripon; son-in-law, Dan Davison of Markesan; 7 grandchildren; Stephanie (Mike) Strzelecki, Theresa (Kyle) Henslin, Ben Scott, Jason (Cassie) Calbaum, Jamie Scott, Megan Calbaum and Nick Davison; one great grandson, Parker Henslin; two sisters-in-law, Lorraine Otto and LaVerne (Gary) Dean; 3 brothers-in-law, Marvin (Shirley) Otto, Arlon (Glenda) Otto and Lester Otto.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Teri Davison, sister, Lois (Al) Sixt; sister-in-law, Evelyn (Clarence) Harke, brother-in-law, Edward (Bonnie) Otto and sister-in-law, Pat Otto.

Visitation for Claris will be from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 226 South Clinton Street, Princeton.

A funeral service for Claris will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor John Dolan officiating. Burial to follow at Manchester Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in Claris' name.
