Arlene Joanne Vander Werff, age 81, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016, at Golden Living Center - Continental Manor of Randolph.
Arlene was born on February 8, 1935, in the town of Randolph to Walter and Anna (Stiemsma) Fischer. On January 10, 1964, she married Louis Vander Werff at the Randolph First Reformed Church. Bebe owned and operated Bebe’s Beauty Salon for many years in Randolph. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and tending to her flower gardens. After retirement Bebe enjoyed snowmobiling and traveling with her husband Louis. She enjoyed the company of friends and family. Bebe was a longtime member of the First Reformed Church of Randolph.
Arlene is survived by her two sons, John (Debra) Vander Werff of Fall River and Kenneth (Rebecca) Vander Werff of North Carolina; four grandchildren; fifteen great- grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brother Cal (Susan) Fischer of Randolph; special friend Terri Vander Werff of North Carolina; a niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2007, brother, Conrad Fischer and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016, from 9:00- 11:00 A.M. at the First Reformed Church, 406 South High Street, Randolph.
Funeral service for Bebe will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 18, 2016, at the First Reformed Church, 406 South High Street, Randolph with Rev. Tim Ehrhardt officiating. Burial will follow in the Randolph Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in Arlene’s name.
