Virginia Grace Rens

Virginia Grace Rens, age 89 of Waupun, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.

Virginia was born on December 17, 1926 in Stevens Point, WI, a daughter of Olaf and Esther (Brummond) Seboe. She was united in marriage to Clayton Rens on May 1, 1948 in Horicon. Virginia enjoyed crafts, quilting, gardening and fishing with Clayton. Spending time with family was a great joy of hers. She was a member of Pella Lutheran Church and was also a member of the ladies aid.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Gail Van Loo of Waupun; 2 grandsons, Michael Van Loo (Meghan Hopp) of Waupun and Jerrod Van Loo (Lauren Straks) of Alto; 6 great grandchildren, Jaycee, Austin, Braxten, Madysen, Treyson and Madelyn; a sister, Gene Gill of Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton, her granddaughter, Lindsay Van Loo and a sister-in-law, Anita (Lloyd) Doering.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Pella Lutheran Church, 315 South Madison Street, Waupun.

A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Pella Lutheran Church with Rev. David Knuth officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in Virginia’s name.
