Leonard Clement Logan, age 84 of Markesan, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Markesan Resident Home.
Leonard was born on February 29, 1932 in Manitowac, WI, a son of John Allen and Laura (Trainor) Logan. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War.
Leonard is survived by 3 children, Allen (Lisa) Logan of Dalton, Stephen Logan and his significant other, Barb of Fond du Lac and Lee (Aleshia) Logan of Manchester; 9 grandchildren, Jon, Tony, Mitchell, Lyndsay (DJ), Nathan (Leslie), Anna (Jake), Mary Lou, Cody and Hunter; 3 great grandchildren, Josephine, Lillian and Emma; a daughter-in-law, Corrine Logan of Twin Cities; 1 sister, Lauretta Kelly of Hales Corners; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; a son, Brian Logan; 3 brothers, Ralph (Lorraine) Logan, Lloyd Logan and Vincent Logan and a sister, Arlene (Peter) Frye.
A funeral service for Leonard will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Markesan Community Funeral Home, 868 North Margaret Street, Markesan, with Rev. Paulraj Sellam officiating. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Abendroth-Connolly Post 282 of Markesan.
A memorial fund has been directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
