Carol Mae Henning

Carol Mae (Giese) Henning, age 79, entered into Eternal Life on, June 16, 2016.

Carol was born on February 28, 1937 to Paul and Frieda (Munster) Giese in the town of Waupun, WI. She was a lifelong area resident and member of Pella Lutheran Church. Carol was proud to work as a CNA and care for others as well as being the smiling and welcoming face for Waupun’s Welcome Service. Though she brought sunshine and love to many friends and neighbors, she undoubtedly loved and was loved most by her family who will miss her presence greatly.

Carol was united in marriage to Richard H. Henning on July 25, 1959 in Waupun. She was married to Richard for fifty years before his passing on November 13, 2009.

Carol is survived by her son Mark Henning and his two son’s Mason and Caden Henning; her three grandchildren Teresa, David and Jessica Buss from her late daughter Wanda (Henning) and David Buss; her two grandson’s Duane and Justin Hull from her late daughter Brenda (Henning) and Duane Hull; her sister Sharon (Giese) Schraufnagel and her husband Norman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Carol was additionally preceded in death by a son, Scott Henning; her parents; and three siblings, Violet Giese, Glendon Giese, and Deloris Kubehl.

A Memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21st at Pella Lutheran Church, 315 S. Madison Street, Waupun; officiated by Rev. David Knuth. Carol’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday at the church after the service.
