Ann Marie Feil, 46, was welcomed into our Savior’s arms on April 2, 2016 surrounded by her loving family, after a battle with kidney cancer.
Visitation for Ann will be at Friedens Ev. Lutheran Church, 335 Jones Dr., Randolph on Wednesday, April 6 from 5-8 pm. Funeral services will be held the following day, Thursday April 7 at 2:30pm with visitation from 1:30 pm until the time of service. Pastor Daniel Schumann will officiate.
Ann was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on July 15, 1969, to Don and Sandy Radke and was baptized at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Lake Mills. She attended grade school at St. Paul’s and was confirmed in the faith in 1983. Ann went on to graduate from Lake Mills High School in 1987 and then moved to Jefferson, and later the Fox Lake area.
In 1997 Ann was blessed with the joy of her life, daughter Alyssa Ann, and she could not have been a prouder and more devoted mother. She cherished every opportunity to spend time together, including a trip to Paris, France in the spring of 2015. They were truly best friends.
Ann worked for a number of employers throughout the years, and in 1995 started working at Feil’s Supper Club in Randolph. A decade later, what started as a friendship with Terry Feil turned into finding her soul-mate. They married on June 10, 2006 at Friedens Ev. Lutheran Church.
Ann enjoyed traveling, and she and Terry took trips to Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, and Acapulco, Mexico. After she was diagnosed with cancer, it was a wish of hers to see the Grand Canyon and take a hot-air balloon ride in Phoenix. In December 2015, they crossed that off their bucket list. Ann also enjoyed scrapbooking, along with golfing – both with Terry and with the ladies at the Fox Lake Golf Club.
Ann had a true passion for the outdoors. She loved biking, fishing and hunting. It was her greatest delight to share her love of the outdoors with Alyssa. They went deer hunting together in Whitehall, Wisconsin at Terry’s aunt and uncle’s land. Ann, Terry and Alyssa also loved to go four-wheel mudding with Ann’s family and friends.
Ann is survived by her husband, Terry Feil and daughter Alyssa Baldner of Randolph; step-children Brandon Feil (Sarah) of Brookfield, Jonathan Feil of Minneapolis, Ryan Feil (Heather) of Milwaukee, Stephanie Feil (Randy Medsker) of Fort Atkinson, along with grandsons Eli, Graham, and Titus Feil; parents, Don Radke and Sandy Petig of Jefferson; two sisters Dawn Radke (Mike Umland) of Fort Atkinson and Tina Lamke (Dwain) of Jefferson; four brothers Eric Petig of Fort Atkinson, Chris, Ray, and Patrick Radke of Iowa. Ann is further survived by her God-daughter and niece, Julie Radke of Fort Atkinson, nephew Kyle and niece Mikayla of Jefferson, niece Jayda of Fort Atkinson, and great-niece and God-daughter Zarrah Ann Marie Radke of Fort Atkinson. Ann is also survived by her paternal grandparents Ray and Ruby Radke of Lake Mills, Aunt Jean Radke of Lake Mills; Uncles John Radke, Bob Radke (Jackie), Bill Radke (Stephanie), David Radke (Karen), Tommy Radke (Danella), and Michael Radke, all of Lake Mills, Aunt Georgia Behling of Jefferson, and Uncle Tom Behling of Fort Atkinson.
