Harold Lawrence Demotts

Harold Lawrence DeMotts, age 99 of Waupun, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Harold was born on November 26, 1916 in Waupun, WI, a son of John and Jennie (Heideman) DeMotts. On October 11, 1940 he was united in marriage to Catherine Bronkhorst. He was a farmer for 22 years and retired from King Manufacturing. Harold was a lifelong member of First Reformed Church and served as a Deacon. He enjoyed traveling, playing cards and spending time with family.

Harold is survived by his son, Robert (Betsy) DeMotts of Waupun; his daughter, Mary (Larry) Navis of Waupun; 3 grandchildren, Chad (Steph) Navis, Cory (Sabrina) Navis and Joel (Rachel) Navis; 6 great grandchildren, Riley Draeger, Ray Navis, Mara Navis, Kellin Navis, Mina Navis and Kovin Navis; his brother, Howard (Janet) DeMotts of Burnsville, MN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine and his sister, Grace (John) Ten Hoope.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service at church.

A celebration of Harold’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at First Reformed Church, 422 West Franklin Street, Waupun with Rev. Bruce Wilterdink. Burial to follow at Forest Mound Cemetery.
