Virginia Pearl Agnes Bradley, age 91 of Randolph, passed away with family by her side on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI.
Virginia was born on June 14, 1924 in the township of Green Lake, a daughter of Arthur and Agnes (Stellmacher) Radtke. On August 19, 1945 she was united in marriage to William Edgar Bradley in Manchester, WI. Virginia enjoyed traveling, sightseeing and watching hummingbirds. The past few years she loved to go to the camper for barbeques. During her earlier years she enjoyed working in the garden and canned food for her family. When she had free time she enjoyed cross stitching and crocheting. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great- great grandmother. She had a special love for her special needs grandson Justin and enjoyed spending time with him. Her family was her life.
Virginia is survived by her children, Linda (Aubrey) Douma of Randolph, Arlyss (Jim) Koopmans of Cambria, Marsha (Don) Froehlich of Friesland, William (Debra) Bradley of Randolph, James Bradley and fiancé Marsha Miller of Green Lake, Lorraine (Donald) Gollnick of Beaver Dam and Brian (Susan) Bradley of Randolph; 21 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; sister Arleen Thiem and sister-in-law Nora Radtke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, a grandson, Mark Douma, great grandson Brady Nehmer; sister Loira (Kenneth) Squires, two brothers Leo and Alden Radtke; two sons-in-law Delroy Gildemeister and Frank Lightner; brother-in-law Roger Thiem.
A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at 2 P.M on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 with visitation from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, 335 Jones Drive, Randolph, WI, with Pastor Daniel Schumann officiating. Burial to follow at Randolph Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in Virginia’s name.
A special thanks to her daughter Arlyss and son-in-law Jim for their years of dedicated love and care they gave to our mother.
