Marjorie Ruth Van Dellen

Marjorie Ruth Van Dellen, age 86 passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Anita’s Gardens Assisted Living in Plymouth, WI.

Marjorie was born on November 17, 1928 in Randolph, WI, a daughter of Harry and Kathryn (Brandsma) Vander Meer. On June 30, 1950 she was united in marriage to William Van Dellen in Randolph, WI. They ran Froz-N-Food Lockers in Randolph for thirty years. While living in Randolph, the couple belonged to the First Reformed Church. In 1978 they moved to Wausau where they owned and operated “Easy Meat Processing,” and later retired to Tavares, Florida.

Marjorie is survived by four children, Debra Van Dellen (Tom Dornfield) of Hudson, WI, Ned Van Dellen of Minneapolis, MN, Timothy (Joellen) Van Dellen and Mary Doherty all of Plymouth, WI; five grandchildren, Daniel (Stephanie) Van Dellen, David Van Dellen, Michael, Tyler and Ben Schuldt; two great grandchildren, Beckett and Elise Van Dellen; two step-grandchildren, Kurt (Marla) Krippendorf and their daughter Bela and Ryan Krippendorf (Erin); a sister, Edith Navis Merrill of Beaver Dam; 2 brothers, Melvin (Donna) Vander Meer of Baldwin, WI and Richard (Diane) Vander Meer of Loveland, CO; a brother-in-law, Ralph (Phyllis) Van Dellen, Jr of Berlin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 2013; a son, Steven; a sister, Charlotte Vander Werff; a brothers-in-law, John Navis and George Vander Werff ; 2 nephews, Steven Vander Werff and Rick Vander Meer.

A funeral service for Marjorie will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at First Reformed Church, 406 South High Street, Randolph, WI, with Rev. Tim Ehrhardt officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

A memorial fund has been established in Marjorie’s name.
