Robert "Bear" Davis

Robert Warren Davis, age 62 of Markesan, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, September 21, 2015 after a long battle of diabetes and kidney disease.

Robert was born on September 11, 1953 in Waupun, WI, a son of Warren and Lona (Davison) Davis. He graduated from Markesan High School in 1973 and on August 26, 1978, he was united in marriage to Carol Howard at Markesan United Methodist Church. He worked at Seneca for 30 years. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and four wheeling. He was an avid Packer fan, a proud Army dad and very devoted grandpa.

Robert is survived by his wife, Carol Davis of Markesan; a daughter, Angela Davis of Campbellsport and her children, Athena and Ryan; a son, Kurtis (Claudia) Davis of Fort Lee, VA; 4 brothers, Herb (Gloria) Davis of Markesan, Gilbert (Betty) Davis of Fort Atkinson, Richard (Pat) Davis of Randolph and Lee Davis of Markesan; 3 sisters, Margaret Roberts of Fond du Lac, June Davis of Hancock and Lisa Davis of Markesan; cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Paul (Venice) Howard and a niece, Tina Hoople.

No services will be held due to Robert's wishes.
