Edith Genevieve Porterfield

Edith Genevieve Porterfield, age 89, born on December 17, 1925 and went home on Friday, May 29, 2015.

Retired Missionary with New Tribes Mission. For 69 years she is survived by her children:

Brian (Alberta) Porterfield, Alaska; Connie Snure, WI; Gwen (Lynn) Drager, WI; Julia (Vinnie) Smith, WI; Rick (Dariene) Porterfield, CA; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters Janet Anderson and Alice Coleman.

Preceded in death by her husband Bruce in 2012.

Services for Edith will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Markesan Bible Church, 60 North Margaret Street, Markesan, with Pastor Levi Snyder officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service. Luncheon following the service with a 3 P.M. burial in the Mackford Cemetery.
