John Mccormick

John L. McCormick of Green Lake, WI passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 29th, 2015.

Born in Madison on December 10, 1964, he was the son of Richard and Janice McCormick.

John was raised in Wauwatosa, WI and graduated from Wauwatosa West H.S. in 1983. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1985 as a Medical Service Specialist stationed at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. Upon discharge he worked as a paramedic in the Williston, FL area before returning to Wisconsin to be near his family.

John is survived by his mother Janice McCormick, sisters Teri (Kerry) Turner, Kimberly (Jack) Goes, and brother James (Sue) McCormick.

John was a caring uncle to Jennifer, Aja, Ian and Jacob. He will be missed by his childhood best-friend, Jay Krause and his constant companion, "Cracker" the cat.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard McCormick as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 3rd at the Markesan Community Funeral Home from 10am-12pm. Interment at Phelps Cemetery on Hwy. H will immediately follow the visitation.
