Daniel Nehring

Daniel R. Nehring, age 55, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015. Dan was born on November 5, 1959 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, a son of Ken and Janice (Rosa) Nehring.

Dan graduated from Whitewater High School in 1978. He participated in sports and played on some good basketball teams winning back to back Southern Lakes Championship in 1976-77 and 1977-78. Dan worked as a furniture stripper, refinisher and painter for many years. He was a great sports fan following the Badgers, Brewers, Bucks and Packers with great enthusiasm.

Dan is survived by his father, Ken Nehring and step mom, Sandy Nehring; his daughter, Abby Nehring; a sister, Sally (Don) Pope and their daughter, Kenley of Whitewater; a brother, Scott Nehring and his children, Brett and Emilee of Woodburn, OR; three aunts, Jane (Dick) Riddle of Oconomowoc, WI, Pat (Dave) Fritz of Phoenix, AZ and Shelly Rosa of Marshall, WI; step brothers and sisters, Jeff (Cynthia) Bachmann, Jay (Valerie) Bachmann, Tamara (Brian) Garity, Tiffany (Mike) Vienneau and their families.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Carol (Rosa) Nehring; grandparents, Leo (Matie) Nehring and Ron (Ruth) Rosa and his Uncle Robert C. Rosa.
