Clifford Charles Teletzke

February 26, 1933 — April 17, 2015

Clifford Charles Teletzke passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at the age of 82. He was born on January, 26, 1933 in Columbus, WI. Cliff was raised by Leo and Minnie Thiem. He graduated from Waupun High School, Class of 1952. Cliff was an active member and usher at Immanuel Lutheran Church. He married Marlene (LaPine) Teletzke on October 29, 1960, at Immanuel Lutheran Church. He enlisted in the Navy and served in the Korean War. Cliff was in the Navy National Reserves for 10 years and member of the VFW 6709 and Legion 210. He was an Honor Guard for 10 years and was Veteran of the year in 2013. Cliff was honored to be selected for the Honor Flight in 2014. He was employed with Central State Hospital and retired from Dodge Correctional Institution. Cliff loved camping, bus trips and his motor cycle.

Clifford is survived by his wife Marlene; son Cliff (Karen) Teletzke and daughter Cindy (Ron) Shaffer; four grandchildren, Trina (Rich) Hernandez, Tonia (Brad) Larschied, Joshua Teletzke and Jacob Teletzke; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sandy (Gordy) Docter, Larry (Judy) LaPine and Dorothy Peterson, nieces nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son Donald Lee Teletzke in infancy; Leo and Minnie Thiem; brother Frank Peterson; sister-in-law Lavon Frank and brother-in-law Don Frank.

A Celebration of Clifford’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 525 West Street, Waupun, with Pastor Lee Zortman and Pastor Bruce Falksen officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery with Military Honors provided by Honor Guard.

Clifford’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, April 20 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 W Main St. Waupun, and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
