Junice Kamphuis, age 91, died peacefully Friday, March 27, 2015 at Marvin’s Manor in Waupun to be with her loving Savior and Lord.
Junice was born on November 15, 1923, a daughter of Jake and Minnie (Redeker) Kamphuis. She worked at National Rivet, Ideal Shoe Factory, Kohls Funeral Home and Waupun Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the 1st Christian Reformed Church in Waupun where she was a Sunday school teacher and the Mary Martha Society.
She was a very loving and caring aunt for her nieces and nephews, Jerome (Joanie) Kamphuis of Appleton, Glen (Darlene) Kamphuis of Brandon, Marilyn Kamphuis of Waupun, Jim (Charlene) Kamphuis of Brandon, Byron (Kathy) Kamphuis of Waupun, Margaret (Martin) Miedema of Waupun, Karen (Bob) Slager of California, Wanda (Jim) Zaotopa of Missouri, Orville (Gail) Kamphuis of Fond du Lac, Alan (Cena) Kamphuis of Waupun and Kay (Paul) Morose of Juneau.
Junice was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Lena and Ruby and two brothers, Garret and Otto.
Funeral service for Junice will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at the 1st Christian Reformed Church, 20 Bly Street, Waupun, with Rev. Craig Van Hill officiating.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 A.M. preceding the service. Burial will follow at the Alto Cemetery.
