Jeannette Bronkhorst

Jeannette Bronkhorst, age 90 of Brandon, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Grancare Nursing Home in Fond du lac.

Jeanette was born on November 29, 1924, the daughter of William and Jennie (Harmsen) in Denver Colorado. Jeanette was employed at the Sewing Factory in Ripon for 13 years and worked as a Cook’s helper for the Brandon School system for 7 years. She was a member of Bethel Reformed Church in Brandon and active in the Mission Society of the church. Jeanette was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Jeanette is survived by three children, Dennis (Kay) Bronkhorst of Marinette, Joan (Harlan) Pluim of Coloma and Randy Bronkhorst of Fond du Lac; three grandchildren, Brian Pluim, Derek Bronkhorst and Patricia (Tim) Bluche; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Reuben (Gladys) Heideman of Arizona; two sisters-in-law, Marian Bresser and Betty Heideman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, one sister and one sister-in-law.

A celebration of Jeannette’s life will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethel Reformed Church, 305 West Main Street, Brandon, with Pastor John Tilstra officiating.

Jeanette’s family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service at church.
