Gayle Elsa Zick

Gayle Elsa Zick, age 62 of Randolph, passed away unexpectedly on January 2, 2015 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

Gayle was born on March 16, 1952 in Columbus, Wisconsin, a daughter of Edward and Elsa (Yohn) Brossard. She attended Fall River High School and graduated in 1970. She was united in marriage to Terry Zick on February 6, 1971 in Randolph, Wisconsin. Gayle was previously employed at Randolph Piggly Wiggly for numerous years and was currently employed at the Daily Citizen for 29 years. She enjoyed fishing and made many memories with her family on Lake Emily. Gayle adored her cats, especially her little buddy Rosie. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting in her spare time, as well as doing crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

Gayle is survived by three children, Erika (Jason) Kellar of Randolph, Jason (Heidi) Zick of Appleton and Robin (Ron) Clark of Missouri; two grandchildren, Emma Clark and Ella Zick; three brothers, Sidney Brossard of Mukwonago, Rodney (Diane) Brossard of Campbellsport and Dennis (Carol) Brossard of Beaver Dam; two sisters, Carol (Sheridan) Albrecht of Cambria and Linda (Gale) Vogel of Portage; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Terry in 2002, her sister-in-law, Nancy Brossard and her sister, Sylvia.
Gayle’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 P.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

A celebration of Gayle’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at Randolph Community Funeral Home, 208 South High Street, Randolph, with Rev. Cal Vande Zande officiating.

A memorial fund has been directed to the family of Gayle.
