Orin Glen Vossekuil

Orin Glen Vossekuil, age 70 of Waupun, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Orin was born May 1, 1944 in the Township of Waupun, WI, a son of John and Clara (Dorrestyne) Vossekuil. He was united in marriage on July 24, 1965 to Joyce Wuesthoff in Juneau, WI. Orin was employed with the National Rivet for 44 years and a maintenance man for Flexographic Packaging Company during his retired years. Orin was part of the Truck n Show of Waupun for many years. He enjoyed yard work and going to flea markets with his wife and collecting coin banks. Orin was a friend to many, always willing to help others at anytime. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Waupun.

Orin is survived by his wife Joyce and his “little buddy” Frisky; his son Steven (Kari) Vossekuil and daughter Candace VanWhy; five grandchildren, Amanda Fincher, April (Tim) Nikle, Kaci Vossekuil, Kyle Vossekuil and Jacob Vossekuil; 8 great grandchildren; two brothers, Ruben and Kenneth Vossekuil,; two sisters, Sharon (Bill) Kwakkel and Marilyn (John) Vander Sanden; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter Taylor Vossekuil; Brothers, Richard, LeRoy, Lester and Wayne Vossekuil; Sisters, Marlene Emerson, Sylvia Holl and Paulette Sauerbrei.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun, with Ken Vossekuil officiating.

Orin’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 11 A.M. until the time of service at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun.

Memorial fund has been established in Orin’s name. In lieu of flowers.
