Gloria J. Denzin

Gloria Joann Denzin, 84 of Waupun, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac.
Gloria was born on November 6, 1930 in the village of Oakfield, Fond du Lac county, a daughter of Joseph and Viola (Steiner) Heimerl. She was a graduate of Oakfield High School in 1948. On June 11, 1949, she married the love of her life Erwin Denzin and resided on their farm for many years. She helped Erwin out with chores on the farm until he started his own manufacturing business which later became Denzin and Rahn Manufacturing. She then served as a book keeper for the company for many years and later became a supervisor selling Shaklee Products.

Gloria is survived by a son; Jerry (Mary) Denzin of Waupun; a daughter, Darlene Jones (special friend, Charles Mauch) of Fond du Lac; two granddaughters, Laura Ann Denzin of Appleton and Christina Marie Jones of Fond du Lac; a sister, Naomi (Darold) Collien of Oakfield; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother-in-law, Lester Denzin.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Francis Home Chapel, 33 Everett Street, Fond du Lac, with Father Adrian Staehler officiating. Interment will follow at Avoca Cemetery in Oakfield, Wisconsin.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.

A memorial has been established in Gloria’s name.
