Donald "Farmer Don" C. Sauerbrei

Donald Clarence Sauerbrei, age 71of Markesan, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Donald was born on August 22, 1943 in Ripon, Wisconsin, a son of Clarence and Erma (Klawitter) Sauerbrei. On June 26, 1971 he was united in marriage to Sharon Collar. He was employed at the Ripon Cookie Factory in 1961 for about 20 years and eventually did some janitorial work at Fabriko. Donald was a big sports fan from the packers to local high school teams. He also enjoyed doing some traveling with his wife throughout the years.

Donald is survived by his wife, Sharon; a brother, Harold "Harry" (Nancy) Sauerbrei of Fond du Lac; a brother-in-law, Darwin Collar of Markesan; his mother-in-law, Violet Collar of Markesan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, George Collar.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Markesan Community Funeral Home, 868 North Margaret Street, Markesan, at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. Dr. Kevin Mundell officiating.

Donald's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service at Markesan Community Funeral Home.

A memorial fund has been established in Donald's name.
