Dale Dennis Strook, of Oakfield passed away at home on Sunday, October 19, 2014.
He was born on September 3, 1940 to the late Theodore and Erna (Dohrman) Strook.
Dale served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965. He retired from Seneca Foods, Oakfield after 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar, football and working in his yard.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara; daughter, Tina (Bill) Dineen and his precious granddaughter, Jennifer Dineen of Oakfield. Five brothers, Darold (Charleen) Strook of Brandon, Martin (Dorie) Strook of Waupun, Richard Strook of Fond du Lac, Robert Strook of Ripon and Lyle (Kathy) Strook of Ripon. Two sisters, Marlene (Ray) Keller of Waupun, and Rosie (Mike) Scharschmidt of Markesan. Mother-in-law, Hazel Wirkus; sister-in-laws, Mary Ann Waskow, Sharon Kohnke, Cathy Wantz all of Fond du Lac, Nancy (Dick) Fenner of Brandon; brother-in-laws, Terry Badtke of Brandon and Robert Badtke of New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis, his parents, two brothers, David and Donald, one sister, Doris and an infant sister.
Per Dale’s wishes, military graveside services will be held at Rosendale Cemetery on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 1:30 P.M.
