Wallace William Youngs, age 57 of Randolph, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Wally was born on August 8, 1957 in Columbus, WI, the son of Harold and Myrtle (Scharf) Youngs. Wally was united in marriage to Mary Krupp on August 11, 1991 at the St. Pauls Evangelical Church in rural Cambria. Wally enjoyed the outdoors whether it was mowing the lawn, snow blowing or enjoying a campfire with friends and family. He would love to go for walks around town and would stop in at the local shops for small talk. Wally was an avid Packer and Brewers fan. He enjoyed spending time with his boys and was always there for them. For 9 years Wally delivered the Daily Citizen to local friends and neighbors. He was a member of the St. Pauls Evangelical Church.
Wally is survived by his wife Mary and two sons, Cory Youngs of Randolph (Colleen Diels of Columbus) and Brett Youngs (Erin Pomranke) of Milwaukee. Three brothers Eldon (Cathy) Youngs of Madison; LaVern (Joyce)Youngs of Plainfield IL, and Russell Youngs of Northern WI; one sister Beverly (Robert) Baumler of Columbus; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother David Youngs.
A celebration of Wally’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the First Reformed Church, 107 East Winnebago Street, Friesland, with Pastor Randy Quade officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, September 29, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Randolph Community Funeral Home, 208 S. High Street, Randolph and on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the Markesan State Bank in Memory of Wally.
