Janet Vande Berg

Janet Vande Berg, 91, of Waupun passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Marvins Manor in Brandon.

Janet was born on November 18, 1922 in the city of Waupun, Dodge County, a daughter of Cornelius and Hattie (Pluim) Vande Kamp. On February 5, 1943, she was united in marriage to Harold Vande Berg in Waupun. Janet was a member of the Netherlands Reformed Church. Janet loved the Lord, her church, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her favorite pastime was reading edifying material and books and tending her flowers and birds.

Janet is survived by three daughters Jane (Edward) Van Buren of Brandon, Mary Vande Berg of Appleton and Kaye (Bryan) Koepsell of Waupun; four sons Lynn (Marilyn) Vande Berg of Prairie Du Sac, Paul (Susan) Vande Berg of Waupun, Joel (Cynthia) Vande Berg of Brandon and Mark (Mary) Vande Berg of Waupun; one brother Arthur (Phyllis) Vande Kamp; 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 1992; one daughter Ruth Anne; three brothers George, Gordon and Clarence; one sister Christina; one brother-in-law James Frens and one sister-in-law Shirley Vande Kamp.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2014, at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun, officiated by Pastor Vergunst. Burial will follow in the Forest Mound Cemetery.

Janet’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, July 13 at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 W Main Street, Waupun from 2:30-5 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
