Margie Jean Luck, age 92 of Waupun, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du lac.
Margie was born on July 4, 1921 in the town of Trenton, Dodge County, a daughter of Earl and Dora (Haslow) Pillsbury. On April 3, 1948, she was united in marriage to Glen Luck in Waupun. Margie enjoyed helping people, to others she was referred to as an “Angel”. She was a wonderful mother, grandma and great-grandmother, always there for her family. Margie loved to bake for the family especially for the holidays; she also enjoyed sewing clothes for friends and family. She was a floral arranger for many years at Waupun Florist and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Margie is survived by two daughters Suzanne (Robert) Lechner of Fond du lac and Cynthia (Tom) Wallendal of Pulaski; five grandchildren, Matthew Sr. (Jamie) Lechner of Fond du lac; Rachel Lechner and fiancé Kyle Sanden of Minneapolis; Jessica (Eric) Frost of Minnesota; Margaret Wallendal of Milwaukee and Glen Peter (Abby) Wallendal of Green Bay; two great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law Boots Pillsbury of Waupun; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband Glen in 2001; two sisters Lorraine (Bob) Whitinger and Janice (John) Adams; brother Earl Pillsbury.
A celebration of Margie’s life will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 525 W. Main Street, Waupun, with Rev. Elizabeth Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, from 9A.M. until the hour of service.
