June Katherine Leinweber

June Katherine Leinweber, age 85 of Waupun, died on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

June was born June 26, 1924 in Oshkosh, a daughter of Jacob and Katherine (Jordan) Peppler. She graduated from Ripon High School, and on June 1, 1946, she was united in marriage to Edward Leinweber in Oshkosh. The couple moved to Waupun in 1950 and June was employed in the business office of Waupun Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Rock River Country Club for 35 years. June was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waupun.

June is survived by one brother, Gordon Peppler and his wife Sharon of Waupun, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1990, two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Lake View Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, WI.

June’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday at Memorial Park from 9 A.M. until the hour of service.
