Ralph Ervin Karow

Ralph Ervin Karow, age 73 of Randolph, was called to his eternal home on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 surrounded by family at Golden Living-Continental Manor of Randolph.


Ralph was born on January 7, 1941, the son of Herman and Freida (Patzer) Karow. He graduated Fall River High School in 1959 and served in the U.S. Army for 4 years. On May 2, 1964 he married Joan Geiger of Columbus. Ralph worked at the Fall River Foundry for 25 years. During his working career at the foundry he began working for local farmers in the Fall River-Randolph area. After leaving the foundry he continued his farming career for several area farmers. He enjoyed socializing with the local farmers and businesses.


He is survived by Joan the mother of their three children; Sheila (Patrick) Harmes, Beaver Dam; Pauline (Daniel) Burke, Beaver Dam and Scott Karow; Fall River; seven grandchildren: Michael, Susie and Matthew Crook of Beaver Dam; Marisa and Dalton Burke of Beaver Dam; Kimberly Karow of Fond du Lac and Megan Karow of Fall River; one brother Philip (Joan) Karow of Randolph; nieces nephews other relatives and friends.


A Celebration of Ralph’s life will be held at 5 P.M. on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Randolph Community Funeral Home, 208 South High Street, Randolph, with Rev. Ken Prol officiating.


Ralph’s family will receive friends and relatives at Randolph Funeral Home on Monday, from 2 P.M. until the hour of service.


A memorial fund has been established in Ralph’s name.
