Ruth Alma Hansen

Ruth Alma Hansen (Nee Harney) of Hubertus, WI, and formerly of Waupun, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 26, 2014, at the age of 90 years.

Ruth was born on February 6, 1923 in Waupun, WI. Following her schooling, she was a loyal employee at Briggs and Stratton for 31 Years, retiring in 1985.

She was united in marriage to her beloved Carlton "Stub" Hansen on March 10, 1942 in Matton, Illinois. He preceeded her in death in 2006 after 64-1/2 years of marriage. Ruth was a loving mother to Lynn Deno, Janet Wall, Carla Miller, Marnie Halverson (Tom Cridelich), Vicky (Gary) Mork and Michael. She is further survived by sister Thelma Campbell, brother Keith Harney, 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3.5 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Kohls Community Funeral Home, from 11:00am to 12:00pm, followed by a memorial service at 12:00pm. Burial following service at Forest Mound Cemetary, Waupun, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, W196 N9525 Cross View Way, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051.
