Margaret “Peggy” Hildebrandt, age 82 of Randolph, died on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Golden Living Center – Continental Manor in Randolph after a short battle with cancer.
Margaret was born on August 28, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Geiger) Moosmueller. She was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Pius High School. On September 5, 1953, she was united in marriage to Edmund Hildebrandt in Milwaukee. They moved to rural Beaver Dam in 1962. Peggy worked for Slinger farms seasonally for many years. For over thirty years she worked at Jungs Seed Company. Peggy loved to read and she enjoyed crocheting afghans for family members.
Margaret is survived by her three sons: Anthony (Gloria) Hildebrandt, Randolph, William Hildebrandt, Burnett, and Joseph Hildebrandt, Beaver Dam, two daughters: Karen (Dean) Sommers and Theresa (Tim) Hupf, all of Beaver Dam, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edmund in 2004, and a brother in infancy.
A memorial service will be held at 7 P.M. on Monday, December 23, 2013,at Randolph Community Funeral Home, 208 S. High Street, Randolph.
Peggy’s family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4 P.M. until the time of services.
