Glenn Howard Killam

Glenn Howard Killam, 73 of Markesan, passed away early Sunday morning, October 27, 2013 at Harbor Haven in Fond du Lac.

Services will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Markesan Community Funeral Home, 868 N Margaret Street, Markesan. Pastor Bruce Engebretson will officiate, and burial will follow in the Mackford Cemetery.

Glenn's family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 9 A.M. until the hour of services.

Glenn was born on April 5, 1940, to Donald and Henrietta (Vande Streek) Killam of Waupun. On April 5 1968, he married Judy (Yunto) Killam at the First Reformed Church of Waupun. They were blessed with 45 years of marriage. Glenn farmed for many years and was a true outdoorsman; enjoying nature, gardening and going for rides in the country. He loved his horses and was one of the founding members of the Wisconsin Farm Team Horse Pullers, and spent many summer days at horse pulls. Glenn also enjoyed visiting with the Amish. More than anything, Glenn loved his family and spending time with his grandkids. He was a great husband, father and grandfather. He was taken from our lives too quickly and will be greatly missed.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Judy Killam, Markesan, one daughter, Linda Milton, Markesan, two sons, Scott Killam, Markesan, and Jody (Laurie) Killam, Spring Green, four grandchildren: Jacob and Cheyenne Milton, Markesan, Paxton and Gabriel Killam, Spring Green, his sister, Arlene (Art) Vande Berg, Brandon, his brother, David Killam, Markesan, four sisters-in-law, Carol Killam, Markesan, Sharon (Elton) Posthuma, Donna (Lee) Nummerdor, Gladys (Dan) Montsma, both of Waupun, a brother-in-law, Gerald (Bev) Yunto, Watertown, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Ann Killam, parents, one brother, Kay Killam, parents-in-law, Lester and Gladys Yunto, and a brother-in-law, Henry Yunto.
