Lynn Bresser

Lynn L. Bresser, 66, died Aug 18th 2013, at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville with his family at his side.

Lynn was born in Beaver Dam, WI on February, 2nd, 1947 to Gilbert and Marjorie (Meenk) Bresser. He graduated from Waupun High School in 1966. He married Susan Eichstedt Aug 31st, 1968 in Ripon, WI. They settled in Janesville 1969. Lynn made his career working for the following pipelines: Michaels, Beloit, Arbys and Murphys as operator and foreman. Lynn was a member of Moose Lodge 197. He was a hardworking, loving family man. He loved to fish with his grandchildren; ride on his recently won Harley with his kids, and South Central HOG Chapter - especially if they would make a stop at DQ. He was a jack of all trades – he could fix anything and made some unique critters.

Lynn is survived by three of his children, Amy Bresser of Madison, WI. Richard Bresser (Brandy Rothenberger) fiancé of Dewitt, MI., and Jason Bresser (Bridget Adkins) of Harvard, IL.; three grandchildren Lukas Bresser, Collyn Bresser, Shayden Bresser; two brothers Norris Bresser (Ann Wiersma), Duke Bresser(Donna Neuman), two sisters Marcia (Bruins) Graff and Ellen Downing (Robert) , nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lynn was preceded in death by his father, mother and sister Kathy Froelich.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug 23nd, at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun, WI, with Pastor Calvin J. Vande Zande officiating. Burial will follow at Alto Cemetery.

Lynn’s family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday Aug 22nd from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and again on Friday Aug 23nd from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
