Madeline E. DeMotts of Waupun, died on July 27, 2013 at the Christian Home Rehabilitation Center.
Madeline was born in Chilton, WI a daughter of Edward and Edna (Fritz) Voigt. She married Robert G. DeMotts in 1943 at Hope Reformed Church in Sheboygan.
Madeline graduated from Chilton High School and the Sheboygan Business College. Following that she worked at the Bank of Sheboygan and as a teacher aide at Jefferson Elementary in Waupun. Madeline was a member of First Reformed Church and was a member of the Waupun Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include three children: Barbara (Paul) Zoschke of Fond du Lac, Hollister (Marcia) DeMotts of Divide, CO, and Rebecca (David) Sorenson of Victoria, MN; grandchildren, Sara Born, Troy (Sandra) Zoschke, Matthew (Amy) Zoschke, Rachel DeMotts, Joshua (Patti Jo) DeMotts, Grace Sorenson, Gus Sorenson; great grandchildren: Lindsay, Eric, Jonah, Ian, Micah, Garrett and Adolyn,
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, two brothers-in-law, and a sister-in-law.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, at Highland Memory Gardens Chapel, N9782 Hwy 151. Rev. Paul Zoschke will officiate and inurnment will follow.
Memorial gifts will be designated to the student fund at First Reformed Church.
