Mary Frances Riel / Klatt

Mary Frances Klatt, age 82 of Fond du Lac and formerly of Waupun, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Edgewood Community Church, 201 Edgewood Drive, Waupun officiated by Pastor Mike Giebink.

Visitation will be at the church on Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. until the hour of service.

Mary was born on June 8, 1930 in Kimberly, WI, a daughter of Adrian and Minnie (DeGroot) Raymaker. She was united in marriage to George Riel and dedicated herself to caring for their large family. Mary was a devoted grandmother who helped raise her grandson, C.J. She later married Ernest Klatt. In her later years, Mary lived with her daughter and grandson whom she enjoyed 4-wheeling with. She also enjoyed going for car rides in the country.

Mary is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Bonnie Riel, Fond du Lac, and her son Dennis (Lorraine) Riel, Waupun. She is further survived by four daughters, two sons, nineteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, two sisters; Martha Lieterman, Kimberly, Jeanette Schuh, Kaukauna, and a brother, Johnnie (Doris) Raymaker, Combined Locks, WI.

Mary was preceded in death by her son, Chuck Riel, her grandson, C.J. Riel, a grandson in infancy, three brothers, and two sisters.
