Making gifts from plastic canvas and other crafts were another way she will fondly be remembered. Charlotte was a proud member of the VFW Auxiliary. She was a longtime member of St. Luke’s and was active in the Ladies Aid for many years.
Charlotte is survived by four children; Mary (James) Wiese, Fond du Lac, Nancy (Carl) Wangerin, Milwaukee, Darlene (Raymond) De Chant, Marshall, and Thomas (Beverly) Philipsky Lomira. Further survivors are ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four sisters-in-law; Margaret Bergman of Thorp, Wi, (though considered sister) Betty Lund of Oakfield, and Delores Philipsky of Fond du lac, Renee Korbach of Cheyenne, Wyo., nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank on October 15, 2010, her parents, her step-father, Alvin Kollman, her grandson, Adam Wiese, three brothers; Clarence, Harold and Alvin Schmidt, and two step-brothers, Raymond and Wallace Kollman.
