Ruth H. Elliott

Ruth H. Elliott, 87, of Waupun, Wisconsin, passed on the evening of October 3rd, 2011 of natural causes. Ruth was born March 15, 1924 in Illinois, moved to California early in life, graduated from high school in Los Angeles. She worked for Lockheed at the start of WWII, where she met and married Louis Mahlstedt. She was mother and homemaker to three children, Fredrick Mahlstedt, Robert Mahlstedt, and Christine Mahlstedt. Later she worked as executive secretary at 3M Corporation from which she retired in 1987.

Ruth has four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Ruth loved life, animals, John Wayne, sports and music. She lived independently until she was 86 and suffered a stroke. She was diagnosed with dementia and eventually confined to a wheelchair. We rejoice that she is now resting in peace. Following Ruth’s wishes, there will be no services.
