Angeline H. Hendricks Novak Schry

Angeline H. Hendricks Novak Schry, age 86 of Waupun, died on Sunday, August 7, 2011, at Marvin’s Manor in Waupun.

Angeline was born on March 18, 1925in the town of Waupun. She was a daughter of the late John and Jennie (Smits) Heideman. On November 20, 1942 she married Henry B. Hendricks in the Town of Alto. The couple lived in Waupun all their married life, and were both employed by Ideal Shoe Company. Henry passed away on February 13, 1979, and on May 29, 1982, she married Emil Novak. Angeline was then employed at Mid State shoe factory in Beaver Dam working in the shoe industry for 34 years. She then worked at Electric Wire in Waupun until she retired. Emil passed away April 30, 1995. On December 27, 1998, she married Donald Schry.

Angeline was a life long resident of the Waupun area. She was a member of First Reformed Church of Waupun. Angeline was an avid reader, enjoying every word of the daily newspaper. She also loved gardening, working on puzzle books and cross stitching.

Angeline is survived by one sister, Julia Berndt of Georgia; cousins, numerous nephews, nieces, and their families, and friends.

Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Heideman, and a brother-in-law, Harold Berndt.

A service to celebrate Angeline’s life will be held at 10:30on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun with Rev. Bob James officiating. Burial will follow in the Alto Cemetery.

Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m.until the service time.
