Matthew Frank Boelter, age 58 of Randolph, was unexpectedly called home to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage.
Matt was born on April 8, 1953 in Beaver Dam, the son of Lyle and June (Willey) Boelter. He attended Markesan High School with the Class of 1971. Matt was united in marriage to Susan Klapper on August 31, 1974 at the County Line Lutheran Church. Matt worked on the family dairy farm and milk hauling business with his father. He established Pride View Dairy, and expanded Boelter Milk Hauling to include a fleet of Mack milk trucks. Matt took great pride in the fact that he continued the farming tradition on the homestead which was in the family since 1939. He was an honest, Christian man, so proud of his family and blessed to work with his dad and all three of his sons. Matt was a well loved employer who was considered a brother or second dad to many of his employees, treating them like family. He was a lifetime member of the County Line Lutheran Church. Matt enjoyed going out to eat, watching movies and the Packers. Spending time in his swimming pool, and cruising in his restored 1967 Ford Fairlane convertible were also favorite pastimes. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family and cherished time with his grandchildren putting puzzles together and playing games.
Matt is survived by Susan, his wife of thirty-six years; three sons; Chad Boelter and fiancé Marsha Durst, Heath (Kelly) Boelter, and Luke Boelter; three grandchildren, Brady, Brianna, and Brandon Boelter; all of Markesan, his parents, Lyle and June Boelter, Markesan; two brothers; Steve Boelter, and special friend Lynda; Tim (Cindy) Boelter, both of Markesan; his sister, Trisha Boelter, and special friend Brian, Lodi. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Jan Klawitter, Fairwater; his step mother-in-law, Rose Klapper, Neshkoro; sisters and brothers-in-law; Barb Boelter, Manchester; Diane (Allan) Cluppert, Terry (Pam) Klapper, Cindy (Bruce) Lenz, Rick (Deb) Klapper, Jim Klapper, Michelle Klapper, and Tonya (Tyler) Dibelius; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
