Richard Harmon Scheuers

Richard Harmon Scheuers, age 53 of Watertown and formerly of Waupun, gone to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 6, 2011 in Watertown at Regional Medical Center.

Richard was born on November 21, 1957, a son to George and Hazel (Schouten) Scheuers. He attended school classes at Pella Lutheran Church. Richard was a loyal and dedicated employee at Green Valley Enterprises assembling small projects. He loved to be around people and always brought smiles to those around him. He enjoyed listening to country western music, watching Dukes of Hazard and was always willing to help as needed around the house. Ricky loved his lord and worshiped him daily.

Richard is survived by his seven siblings; George and his wife Elizabeth Scheuers Jr., Waupun, Marvin Scheuers, Fond du Lac, Rose and her husband Delwin Respalje, Kingston, Gloria Bierman, Watertown, Merle Scheuers, Appleton, Betty and her husband Mark West, Fond du Lac, and Delmar Scheuers, Waupun; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Gladys Mae.

A Celebration of Richard’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 10, 2011 at Kohls Community Funeral Home, 405 West Main Street, Waupun, with Rev. Bob James officiating. Burial will follow in the Alto Cemetery.

Richard’s family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 9th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

A Memorial fund has been established in Richard’s name.
