Adeline Edna Munro

Adeline Edna Munro, age 82 of Randolph, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2010, at Golden Living Center – Continental Manor in Randolph, surrounded by her family.

Adeline was born in Beaver Dam on October 12, 1928, a daughter of Lawrence and Edna (Stagner) Kasmiske. She married Harold Munro on October 11, 1952 in Lost Lake, WI. Adeline was committed to caring for her husband and family. As a couple, Adeline and Harold spent many evenings playing euchre. She was a bartender for many years in downtown Randolph. Adeline also worked as playground assistant at Randolph Elementary School. Adeline loved outdoor activities, including tending her weed free garden. She especially enjoyed fishing for bullheads. Adeline was a longtime member of Bethany Presbyterian Church.

Adeline is survived by her six children; Donna (Jerry) Wiersma, Milwaukee, Mary (Jerry) Sauer, Cambria, David (Kathy) Munro, Beaver Dam, Rose (Duane) Huebner, Escalon, CA, Roberta De Vries (Roger Brickner) and Robert Munro, both of Randolph; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; her sister Kathleen Laughran, Beaver Dam; two aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2007; and two brothers, Delbert and Lawrence Kasmiske.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 275 North High Street, Randolph with Pastor Linda Heisler officiating. Burial will follow in the Randolph Cemetery.

Adeline’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 2nd from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bethany Presbyterian Church, and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services.

A memorial fund has been established in Adeline’s name.
