Laurie Jean Dalli

Laurie Jean Dalli, age 71 of Fox Lake, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Laurie was born on August 16, 1938 in Milwaukee, WI, a son of Alfred and Ida Mae (LeBeau) Dalli. He graduated from Shorewood High School near Milwaukee. Laurie grew up spending his summers on Fox Lake, and has resided there for the past twelve years. He enjoyed waterskiing, sailing, photography, and art. Laurie was a charter member of the International DeMolay Alumni Association, and achieved the Chevalier degree.

Laurie is survived by his uncle, Thorwald Heckl, his cousin, Kurt and his wife Barbara Heckl, all of Fox Lake; and cousins, Bonnie (Keith) Menke and their son Charles, Sheboygan Falls; Todd (Christina) Heckl and their children Andrew and Allison, Hustisford; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and an aunt Dorothy Heckl.

Graveside services are planned for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the Pinelawn Memorial Park Chapel, 10700 Capitol Drive, Milwaukee. Chaplain Tom Griffey will officiate, and entombment will follow.
