Frances Mary Dreier, age 88 of Brandon, died on Friday, September 18, 2009, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, surrounded by her family.

Frances was born on November 13, 1920 at Lindley New York, a daughter to Robert and Margaret (Mitchell) Terwilliger. She was a graduate of Eldred High School in Eldred, PA and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Mansfield University of Mansfield, PA. She served her country with the Women’s Army Corp during World War II, stationed at the Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, DC.

On August 21, 1944, Frances was united in marriage to Earl F. Dreier at her home in Eldred, PA. Fran worked several years for Joan Photo and with CESA, teaching in Brandon and Waupun. She was a member of Brandon United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School, attended Couples Club, and was active in Philathea. Fran loved to garden and play scrabble.

Fran is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Dolgner, Montello; Mary (Leslie) McCullough, Waupun; two granddaughter, Annette Roberts, of Montello; and Angela (David) Engebregtsen, of Waupun; three grandsons, Steve (Andrea) Dolgner, Westfield; Aaron (Becky) McCullough, Crivitz; and Jesse Dolgner, Fond du Lac. She is further survived by eight great-grandchildren, Alayne and Isabella Roberts; Dustin and Hannah Dolgner; Christopher Woitula; McKenzie Engebregtsen; Caleb and Corinne McCullough; one sister, Verona (Reno) Masini, Glenview, Illinois; two brothers, Royce (Marge) Mitchell, Corning, NY; David (Joyce) Mitchell, The Villages, FL; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Fran was preceded in death by her husband in 1978; a granddaughter, April McCullough; a son-in-law, Kenneth Dolgner; three brothers, Carl, Raymond, and Edgar Terwilliger; and four sisters, Marion Quacbenbush; Dorothy Knowles; Joann Hoyt; and Mary Gonyo.

A Service to Celebrate Fran’s Life will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept 22, 2009 at Brandon United Methodist Church, 107 E. Washington St. Brandon, with Pastor Laura Yates officiating. Inurnment will follow at Brandon Cemetery.

Fran’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday at the church from noon until the hour of service.

A Memorial fund has been established in Fran’s name.
