Eleanor Theresa Kindschuh, age 88 of Waupun, died peacefully at her home on Monday, January 5, 2009, surrounded by her family.

Ellie was born on June 29, 1920 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Walter and Catherine (Czarnecki) Rokicki. She was a loving and devoted wife who worked side by side with her husband on their farm southeast of Waupun. She was a dear and caring mother to her children; a loving grandmother to her two grandsons, and took pride watching them grow. Ellie is survived by Norman, her husband of sixty-nine years; her beloved daughter, Kathleen (Wayne) Gibbs of Beaver Dam; two beloved grandsons, Matthew Gibbs and Ryan Gibbs, both of Beaver Dam; her brother-in-law, Roger Kindschuh; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Priscilla Ann; her son David; three sisters, Theresa and Emily Rokicki in infancy, and Margaret Herden; three brothers, Raymond, Stanley, and Walter Rokicki, Jr.

A Private Family Service will be held at Kohls Community Funeral Home, followed by burial in Highland Memory Gardens.
