Mary Ellen Francis Stanek

Mary Ellen Francis Stanek, age 61, died at home peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 25, 2009.

Mary was born on March 19, 1948 in Milwaukee, a daughter to James and Olivene (Johnson) Elgersma. She was united in marriage to Jim Stanek on June 7, 1979 in Columbus. Mary was employed at Golden Living Center- Continental Manor, Randolph as a CNA and med. tech for 6 years. She was also employed at Fashion Bug and Rays Shoes of Beaver Dam. In Mary’s free time she enjoyed gambling, cooking and collecting dolls. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her grandkids very much.

Mary is survived by Jim, her husband of twenty-eight years; her son Mike Boschaert and fiancé Deanna Paul, of Randolph; and her daughter Brenda Gollnick, of Reeseville; five grandchildren, Morgan; Trevor; Kasey; Levi; and Ryan; her mother Olivene Elgersma; a brother, Richard (Penny) Boscharet, Beaver Dam; five sisters, Kathy (Bob) Newman, Waupun; Joy Poppe, Watertown; Laurie (Harley) Baehler, Fall River; twin sisters, Jean Guptill, Lowell and Joan Guptill, Beaver Dam; Sister-in-law Elaine Anderson, Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her father; and her brother, Lynn Anderson.

Funeral Services will be at 11a.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Randolph Community Funeral Home, 208 South High Street, Randolph; with the Rev. Mark Jensen officiating.

Mary’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, October 26, 2009 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Randolph Community Funeral Home.

A Memorial Fund is being established for Mary’s grandchildren.
