Paul Clatworthy, age 92 died Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Golden Living Center of Beaver Dam.
Paul was born July 3, 1917 in Yonkers, New York the son of William and Alice (Fitzgerald) Clatworthy. Paul was a 1936 graduate of West Allis High School. Following graduation he worked with a local printing company until he enlisted with the United States Army Air Force in March of 1940. Paul served his country during WWII in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater in Papuan, New Guinea and the East Indies. Paul was the receipt ant of the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with three Bronze Battle Stars, American Defense Service Ribbon, the Distinguished Unit Badge and Five Overseas Service Bars. After Paul return home, he was employed with Sears and Roebuck for several years as an interior decorator. Following retirement Paul moved to the Randolph area, where he resided until his death on Friday.
A Graveside Service will be held 9:30 am Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, Wisconsin, with Full Military Honors.
