Bernardean Amelia (Biel) Stofflet, age 85 died peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Golden Living Center-Continental Manor of Randolph.
Bernardean was born October 16, 1923 the daughter of Ervin and Laura (Hatzinger) Biel in Columbus, Wisconsin.
Bernardean was united into marriage to Bernard Stofflet on February 21, 1944 in Lost Lake. She was formerly employed with Weyenberg and Monarch Range of Beaver Dam.
Bernardean is survived by two sons, LaMoyne (Odessa) Stofflet, of Beaver Dam and Steve (Hazel) Stofflet, of Brandon; a daughter, Crystal (Larry) Wiersma, of Beaver Dam; eleven grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, fourteen step-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Jean (Tom) Dover of, Beaver Dam; brother-in-law Jim Peck, of Beaver Dam; sister-in-law Nancy Biel, of Waterford; and by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard; her parents; two brothers, Lester and Gordon Biel; two sisters Loretta Peck and LuWayne Helmer; son-in-law David Neuman; brother-in-law Art Helmer; and one granddaughter Monica.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
