Kara Lyn Carlson, age 34 of Waupun, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
Kara was born on August 26, 1973 in Cudahay, WI, a daughter to Kenneth and Betty Ann (Budsberg) Carlson. She graduated from the Pulaski High School in Milwaukee and attended Milwaukee Technical College for a year. Kara relocated to Waupun in 2000 to follow her family and took further education from MPTC in the Accounting Program. She was formerly employed as a waitress at Rolling Meadows, and also did some accounting for the Liberty Tax Service of Oshkosh. As a hobby Kara enjoyed raising and selling guinea pigs. She also loved to play computer games.
Kara is survived by her parents; one sister, Kristi (Russell) Currier from Beaver Dam; three nephews; two nieces; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother Kevin on March 4, 2004; and her grandparents.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Kohls Community Funeral Home. The Rev. Franklin P. Moore will officiate.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
